Tate moved to the PNW from California in 2021 and started to get involved with the youth in her community. Since moving to the PNW Tate got a chocolate lab and they spend time outside together everyday, she also loves cooking and all things arts and crafts. 

She has been working with kids and mentoring them for the last seven years. Tate is passionate about mentorship because she had a mentor that helped her complete college and continues to encourage her as she establishes her career and life. Tate is excited about the work HOLLA does because she knows the impact it can have when just one person believes in you and as a mixed kid she understands the importance of seeing representation around you. 

Being around kids always gives her more hope for the future.
